    Use a gentle, pH-neutral or silk-specific detergent — avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals.

    Hand-wash is ideal. If you choose machine washing, turn.

    Dry carefully: Lay flat on a clean towel or use a padded hanger to air-dry. Avoid tumble drying and keep out of direct sunlight or direct heat, which can fade or weaken silk fibers.

    Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals— alkaline chemicals can damage silk’s protein fibers.
